There are many things in life that would be worthless if they were not HARD.  For example, what good would it be if you were on a construction site wearing a soft hat when a hammer fell on your head?  And what good would it be if you poured concrete for a new driveway and the concrete never got hard?

However, there is one thing in life that God warns us that we should never allow to get hard.  That one thing is your heart.  "Do not harden your hearts..." (Hebrews 3:15).

You see, God can't use a hard hearted person.  A hard hearted person is worthless in His kingdom.  The hard-hearted Israelites died in the desert and never made it to the promised land.

So, has life hardened your heart?  Have you allowed people to hardened your heart?  Or is your heart still soft and pliable for God to use?
