People pride themselves on being "escape artists." Houdini would amaze the crowds as he would be locked inside a box and yet he would escape. Teenagers impress themselves and their friends when they escape punishment for breaking school rules. And drivers become arrogant when they escape the policeman's speed trap. Even today on the news it was reported that a woman prisoner had escaped prison by hiding in a suitcase that was carried out by a guard. So there are many escape artists today, BUT BE CAREFUL BECAUSE GOD IS EXTENDING YOU SALVATION NOW AND IF YOU PUT OFF ACCEPTING THAT SALVATION YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ESCAPE THE CONSEQUENCES.
"For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE IF WE IGNORE SUCH A GREAT SALVATION?" (Hebrews 2:2,3).
