As I'm writing this blog, Valentine's Day is almost upon me, so love is on my mind. (Yes, I'm a man of love. You can even call me "The Love Doctor" if you so desire.)
But the sad thing about love is that people can leave their love and "grow out of love." That is the warning that Jesus gives John in Revelation 2 when He is talking about the Christians in Ephesus.
"I have this against you, that you have left your first love" (2:4).
DO YOU TRULY LOVE JESUS MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE IN LIFE? I MEAN, DO YOU LOVE JESUS MORE THAN YOUR CAR? YOUR HOUSE? YOUR PRESTIAGE? YOUR VACATION?
If you have left Jesus and pursued other priorities, I challenge you to turn around and come back to Jesus. He loves you and He loved you first.
