One of the greatest things about the summer, especially in the Midwest, is the opportunity to spend as much time as possible "at the lake." Jesus also had the chance to spend His time "at the lake."
Much of Jesus' ministry before His crucifixion and resurrection took place on the shores of Lake Gennesaret, also known as the Sea of Galilee. In this series, we’ll look at several key encounters between Christ and His followers during His time "at the lake."
The purpose of this summer series is to show us what Jesus was about and what He intended a relationship with Him to look like. Starting on June 1st, plan to meet Jesus "at the lake", and stay there throughout this summer. The first three scheduled messages are as follows:
